Remembering Victims of Domestic Violence

Our saltwater sister, Kathy Pullin formerly of Seguin in Guadalupe County, is an amazing woman. She is a lady with boundless energy and is involved with so many charitable organizations, I can't name them all here. In addition to being a famous pit-master, and dozens of other achievements, Kathy is on the board of directors of Guadalupe Valley Family Violence Shelter, Inc. Each year in October (Family Violence Awareness Month) She chairs a fundraiser and awareness event. Because of COVID-19, she has been unable to sponsor an in-person event, but she has come up with a great idea for us here in Calhoun County. We are having a candle-light vigil to honor and remember victims of domestic violence. We will gather at the King Fisher pavilion on Park Street in Port O'Connor on Tuesday evening, October 26,2021 at 6:30 P.M.
Please join us for a quiet time of reflection and to honor and remember those whose lives has been affected by domestic violence.
